Our Client

This successful Australian owned business is looking for an experienced  Accounts Receivable Officer.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Accurately allocate and process payments
  • Negotiate and agree to payment plans for outstanding clients
  • Correctly raise credit memos for approved claims
  • Proactively investigate and resolve all payment discrepancies
  • Weekly accounts receivable reporting
  • Identify potential process improvement
  • Assisting the collection/customer service team where necessary

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will have previous accounts receivable experience within the retail and/or importing/wholesale sectors.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and working to tight deadlines will ensure success. You must also enjoy working in a team environment, be able to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of your work.

Your strong communication skills will enable you to maintain a high level of customer service and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to quickly grasp new systems.

A four day working week is not out of the question!
